== Session Summary: == That party blindfolds and bind the unconscious hobgoblin prisoners so they cant easily escape. [[Trozig]] (Son of [[Xobzag]]) awakes and berates the party for attacking his city. He was granted it by the Baron of [[Oleg Keep]]. The party footstomps their role as new overlords of the Oleg region, as jointly appointed by the authority of the Baron of [[Knurl]] (Count Dunstan) and clan Darzog (King Kruger). They dont recognize the Rippers claim to title nor that of the Baron of Oleg Keep. The party is leading an alliance of Dwarves, Elves, and Humans to reclaim the lands around Oleg Keep. Stating "Its time to move out now - peacefully, or by force later" and "they are the vanguard of a sizeable army" the party instructs Trozig to take his troops and leave or face consequences Trozig and his subordiante refuse to deal while tied up, Luthaist frees Trozig. His subordiante still tied up goads Kruger again who's temper flares and Luthaist notices Kruger begins to ready his ax. The hobgoblins and party converse about taking back ownership. [[Horin]] steps outside to talk with the locals and their troops and avoid the imminent bloodshed. Trozig insults Krugers clan, and Krozig and Trozig begin a battle to the death. Menahile Gallandrin unleases a volley of magic missles at both hobgoblins. Kruger shoves the guard through the loom machinery finally killing him. Luthaist murders the subordiante by slitting his throat. They find a map and orders outling the Hobgoblin invasion plan signed by the Rippers Warlord Xobzag. The party led by Horin consults with Pax about rallying the locals, during the disussion Pax decides to become a follower of Horin. The party makes its way to the Tavern when Horin notices a rotting smell (undead) coming from the temple of Obad-Hai. As they are tired, wounded, and nearly out of spells they decide to investigate later. They find the North Wind tavern is locked up, and the owner refused to open the door. They look for an alternate way in and finding the back door and windows stoutly barred they head across the street to an abandonded house.Β Luthaist stakes out the North Wind while the party searches the building which is an old leathershop. Gallandrin finds human skins neatly bound and stacked ready for shipment. Horrified by the sight, and realizing these are likely the missing villagers, they decide to move to the building next door. Horin consecrates the ground, the party decides to burn the leathershop to the ground with all the contents. Meanwhile Luthaist notices two figures sneaking out the back of the North Wind and into the grove of trees behind the building. He hurries after them and finds a footpath through the wood but is unable to determine which direction they went.Β The path is heavily travelled with many footprints going multiple directions and leads into another set of woods. He checks out the tavern and finds doors remain locked and apparently trapped. One of the human troops by the name of Jemsen attempts to storm the door to the North Wind and is killed by a trap. It is dark so the party decided to settle in, they direct their troops to post sentires at all the road entrances to the town. Capture any raider survivors, or kill if they must. The dwarven troops post sentries around the building while the party attempts a long rest. Luthaist and Mourn start meditating while the rest of the party goes to sleep. |exp= 966XP Milestone - Learning about the Rippers invasion plans, dealing with the hobgoblins, finding out more about the atrocities occuring in the region, not taking the wool from the townsfolk <table style="width:100%" border="1"><tbody><tr><td style="text-align:center;width:100%" colspan="3"><span style="text-align:start;font-family:'book antiqua', palatino">Individual Experience Bonuses</span></td></tr><tr><td style="width:13.2244%;text-align:center"><span style="font-family:'book antiqua', palatino">NAME</span></td><td style="width:5.79495%;text-align:center"><span style="font-family:'book antiqua', palatino">XP</span></td><td style="width:80.9807%;text-align:center"><span style="font-family:'book antiqua', palatino">NOTES</span></td></tr><tr><td style="width:13.2244%"><span style="font-family:'book antiqua', palatino">Gallandrin</span></td><td style="width:5.79495%">50</td><td style="width:80.9807%"> Discovering the Hobgoblin plans, & skins, creative use of prestidigation</td></tr><tr><td style="width:13.2244%"><span style="font-family:'book antiqua', palatino">Horin</span></td><td style="width:5.79495%">100</td><td style="width:80.9807%"> Avoiding unnecessary violence, gaining a follower (Pax), consecrating the remains</td></tr><tr><td style="width:13.2244%"><span style="font-family:'book antiqua', palatino">Luthaist</span></td><td style="width:5.79495%">150</td><td style="width:80.9807%"> Playing in character, finishing move on the Hobgoblin, identifying traps on the North Wind, oddly showing concern for the villagers well being</td></tr><tr><td style="width:13.2244%"><span style="font-family:'book antiqua', palatino">Mourn</span></td><td style="width:5.79495%"> </td><td style="width:80.9807%"> </td></tr><tr><td style="width:13.2244%"><span style="font-family:'book antiqua', palatino">Ragnum</span></td><td style="width:5.79495%"> </td><td style="width:80.9807%"> </td></tr><tr><td style="width:13.2244%">Kruger</td><td style="width:5.79495%"> </td><td style="width:80.9807%"> </td></tr></tbody></table> | treasure = See party sheet Nasty looking dagger from Trozig.
