{{Session |campaign=Ivae Orr |session_date=3 December 2022 |game_date=9 Early afternoon/evening Flocktime 30, CY621 |synopsis=The elves finally meet with their kin from the Ivae Orr while the dwarves butcher the dragon and contemplate a new deal with the Red Company |summary= === At the Purple Worm Coach House === Mourn and Luthaist follow Ellison out the hallway and begin to make their way towards the ground floor when they spot a female elf named Lanuhel and two guard (human) sneaking up the stairs. They set an ambush. Lanuhel detects the elves after Mourn fumbles his stealth and tells them to drop their weapons. Lannor her brother appears right behind the elves and suggests they do so quickly. Lannor attempts to goad Luthaist and Mourn into a fight with him or the remaining guards. He advocates killing all the humans in the coach house again. Lanuhel tells them what she has to say is not for human ears and they head out to the courtyard. Lanuuhel tells Luthaist & Mourn about the Rippers steady advance from Spinecastle and the Raker Mountains far to the north, heading south to the lands they hold now just east of Baron Dunthmores domain for the past 30 years. Of late the Rippers been sending small skirmish groups that look more like brigands (mix of humans and humanoids) to the West and South of Oleg keep. She thinks they ultimately intend to cut off the elves in the Ivae Orr from the dwarves, gnomes, and humans to the south in Knurl. Lannor states the humans will betray the elven people as the Baron is reportedly massing his own troops near Oleg keep. Lanuhel suspects the Baron is working with hobgoblins as he only half heartedly engages them in combat. They reportedly send goods along the Oleg road to Harodford and the Baron probably gets a cut of the money as those wagons are never attacked. Unlike Lannor, she does not advocate for the elves to make war with the Baron as that will mean the humans in Knurl will not come to their aid. Luthaist and Mourn fail to convince Lannor or Lanuhel they will aid them in defeating the Rippers or the Baron. The elves part ways and agree to meet in two days at Wanborne after the moot with the Serpert Clan, Druids, and Elves concluded. Luthaist & Mourn head back to Wanborne. ===At the town of Wanborne=== Horin follows the hobgoblins out of town and then stops to explore one of the farmhouses at the edge of town. He finds a comfortable bed and immediately collapses with exhaustion. Gallandrin supervisors the butchering of the green dragon corpse to ensure the most valuable parts are preserved. By the end of the day a small party of troops has managed to cut the body up into large pieces and begun to dispose of the corpse into the mass grave to the east of town. He finds evidence of Drow weaponry embedded into the hide. Puzzling as he is unaware of underdark entrances near here. After a short rest Horin awakens and begins ministering to the remaining garrison. Their moral is low having lost almost 50% of their troops, Horin conjures up a feast. The guards take a break. A messenger arrives from the Western gate saying a rider is approaching wearing a dark red cloak and will be here shortly. Horin and Gallandin order the remaining troops to guard the west and south gates. At dusk a road weary and dusty red robed rider comes into town and hands a scroll to Horin. The scroll outlines the Red Companys terms: Offer of peace, in exchange for not attacking Red Cloak companies moving goods along the north south road from Knurl and Spinecastle to the far north, the party will receive a percentage of all goods that pass through the town. Gallandrin and Horin want to secretly incite the Red Company to fight the Rippers. It sounds doable but they are concerned about the Rippers. They agree to the terms to buy time for Stirkirk and his mercenary company to arrive. They send the messenger off with an agreement to the terms but conditions apply. }} == Experience == Party Experience == Treasure == Party Treasure === Major NPC's === === Tasks or Quests === Tasks === Rumors or Intelligence Gained === Rumors
