[[Session 107 The Sea Hags treasure]] and then continue their journey towards [[Coregilia]]. |summary= === Enroute to Coregilia === The party notices a group of sea elves riding dolphins following in their wake. Once they arrive within sight of Coregilia the elves and the dolphins disappear beneath the waves not to be seen again. === The harbormaster === The party arrives at the docks as the sun begins to set. As they tie up to the pier the harbormaster runs up asking about their intentions and cargo. After a brief discussion with [[Hvitserk]] the harbormaster begins to look curiously upon the the characters. At that point Hvitserk states my purser will handle the docking fees (which amount to 13 SP) and goes back to the work of tying up his boat leaving the party to pay the fee. Durmen deftly offers 30sp to the harbormaster, successfully bribing their way past the inspection which would certainly turn up their salvaged casks and gear from the caravel. The party disembarks and heads towards the market area at the end of pier in search of some food and drink. === Some beef jerky my lords? === The market shopkeepers are closing up for the day but see an opportunity for one last sale. The vendors crowd the party and [[Aldran]] losses his patience after the shopkeeper can't answer his question: "was the goat was killed in a kosher manner". The shopkeeper stammers as Aldran presses him for an answer before storming off stating "the hate makes it taste better" insulting the shop keepers as he heads to town. [[Balmaris]] tried to diffuse the tension and remarks "he had too much crab chowder". Balmaris then proceeds to buy a weeks worth of dried food for a week for everyone. The merchants greatly appreciate the brisk business and as the party heads off they finish closing up their shops. Just up the road the party finds a nice in called the [[The Snapping Line]] to spend the night. They walk in and take up seats at the bar, looking about they find the inn doing a brisk business with the fishermen retiring after long day at sea. The innkeeper introduces himself as [[Abe Falstaff]] and jovially asks for their orders. The party insists on the best drinks he has, offering up [[Durmen]] ale for 8 SP or whiskey 11 SP. Nail asks for a common ale at 8 CP and then quietly moves away from the party to the end of the bar to keep watch. === Raynoff makes his move === Aldran and Durmen attempt to fence their kegs of booze to Abe but fail to persuade him to make the purchase. Aldran then notices Abe's wearing a shartooth necklace and decides to showcase his own barbarian bling by starting a pec flexing contest. This seems to win over Abe who agrees to purchase all the booze the following day. Three sailors sitting at a table near the bar area overhear the PC's talking with Abe and make some snide comments that Aldran and Durmen take offense to. Hearing all this commotion a grizzled fighter sitting next to Aldran rips a fart that literally crawls across the floor sickening the sailors. He then proceeds to pick a fight with the sailors before Aldran convinces him to have a beer with the party. As they walk to a table the sailor "accidentally" pushes his chair out in an attempt to trip [[Raynoff]] who recovers quickly and comes up swinging. === Barroom blitz=== Big Nick as the sailor is known, is knocked prone by Raynoff who leaps off a table landing squarely on another sailor. Not wanting to ruin their chances of selling off a few under GP of booze the party decides to intervene and use non-leathal force. Durmen uses the spell "command" to tell Nick to flee which he does screaming in terror out the front door. Durmen bitch slaps the remaining sailor harder than he intends and kills the sailor. At this point Balmaris steps in and heals the sailor to avoid being charged with murder while the rest of the sailors seeing an opportunity to engage in a good old fashioned barroom brawl move to encircle the party. Blows begin to be exchanged as both the party and sailors go at each other with gusto. Raynoff is himself knocked prone after a particularly vicious hit but he drags the nearby sailors down with him in a series of grapples. Abe meanwhile concerned for his bar grabs his weapons and prepares to join the fray. === The view from the porch=== [[File:Flumph.webp|thumb|Flumph]]Nick is followed out the door by Aldarn who confronts him on the porch followed shortly thereafter by Durmen and Nail who are intent on heading back to the ship. Aldran and Nick exchange blows, and Nick decides enough is enough. He pulls his dagger and stabs Aldran which sends the barbarians into a blind rage resulting in the quick but painful death of Nick. Aldran turns to head back inside and spots three other unfortunate sailors sitting on the porch in the process of coming to their friends aid. Aldran's rage induces a wild magic effect and he ends up summoning a cute little flumph with a beaming smile who say hello. Its eyes widen in terror as Aldran uses the flumph like a grenade. The flumph explosion kills one sailor and wounds another splattering blue flumph blood everywhere. Now thoroughly enraged and lost in the ecstasy of battle Aldran repeatedly re-summons the flumph - who with terror in its eyes knowings its going to die looks sadder and sadder each time it re-appears before taking more sailors out in an explosive spray of blue of blood and guts. Balmaris can barely keep up with the carnage, as fast as he casts 'spares the dying' on one sailor the party drops another and another. === Last Call === His anger now spent Aldran goes back inside and sits down to finish his drink seemingly oblivious to the trail of carnage he's left. Balmaris rushes inside to finish healing those that Raynor and Raynoff have slain while Durmen and Nail quickly follow healing the injured as they make their way to Aldrin's table. As the newly healed patrons rush out in a panic, Raynoff and Abe square off with swords drawn circling each other like big cats. The rest of the party sits back, beer in hand to watch the impending duel between Abe and Raynoff. }}
