Thriven under his covername Aldous has been carefully building trade alliances with some of the local rulers. As a merchant he has expanded his market and political influence by seemingly always being able to find the common items (a measly 15% markup) but also the less savory - specifically slaves and alcohol. He uses his relationship and reputation to gain local court insights which he sends back to the Scarlet Brotherhood. He buys and sells slaves from both the Xobzag of the Rippers and Erferil of the Red Company. Aldous is married to Margarete, a nagging, and outlandish character of some ill repute of her own.
