Encounter Setting
The party advances from the lower Blemu Hills north towards the Ivae Orr forest region but must traverse a series of low hills, swamps, and groves of trees.
The route to Oleg Keep can vary based on PC choices. There are two main trails and roads that make passage quicker but potentially expose the PC's and their company to spys and harassing attacks from the village garrisons. The most direct route will lead through Damerel, Wanborne, and Grenvik.
Along the way the PC's should learn about the Rippers plans to invade and that Oleg Keep is held by a noble who's loyalty to the realm is questionable.
Day 1
PC's arrive in town
Day 2
Departs the North Wind Coach House to inform that strangers have arrived in town.
A dispatch rider arrives from Burtons Irregulars informing the PC's that Stirkirk is gathering the company (@ 50 light to medium infantry armed with sword and spears) and they intend to march north to meet them. He expects it will take a full week to gather and re-equip everyone, and another week on foot to make it to Wanborne if thats where they want to meet at.
Alain arrives late in the afternoon/early evening with a seven youth (mid 20's) and word that the Serpent Clan elders have been informed of the PC's successful freeing of the Flan slaves in Wanborne. They are going to hold a meeting at the standing stones to the east (Bexley) in three days time.
Day 3-4
Rest and rebuild. Reports will filter in that the Rippers have been spotted in the hills to the east and plains to the west. Some more Flan from the hills will arrive to bolster the garrison.
Day 5
Nestriel splits her group of rangers some move west to follow a raiding party while the rest head south to Bexley standing stones for the meeting with the Serpent Clan. After dark Lanuhel heads back to the coach house to meet with her brother Lannor who is awaiting word from either Wanborne or the Elves coming from the fortress of Barad Dumon in the eastern via Barad Eth'el just outside of Lenmore. If the party arrives today at the Purple Worm Coach house Lannor will be watching from the woods across the road.
The moot occurs at midnight and runs a few hours. The participants will all try to leave before dawn.
